The Drs. Kiran & Pallavi Patel Family Foundation has a long history of philanthropy, primarily focused on providing healthcare and education, as well as celebrating their Indian cultural heritage and providing youth with an education in Fine Arts. The Foundation’s geographic footprint is mainly the Tampa Bay area and the Indian State of Gujurat. Together with charitable contributions throughout India and Africa, the family foundation has contributed over $ 500M for charitable causes and continues to expand its work both domestic and abroad.
2022: The Dr. Kiran C Patel Elementary School employs a ‘whole child’ approach, prioritizing a rigorous academic curriculum alongside edifying life-skills, resiliency, and character. The school seeks the development of the entire person to prepare them to be successful in all dimensions of life.

Patients throughout their entire lifetime, starting as early as in the womb and continuing through late adulthood. The Patel Children’s Heart Institute at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is home to the largest congenital heart disease program in West Central Florida.
2019: Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel realized their longstanding mission of establishing a medical college, along with other health care education opportunities, by partnering with Nova Southeastern University. The Patels named the University’s Allopathic and Osteopathic Medical Colleges, it’s International Dental Program, and its College of Healthcare Sciences.

2019: Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel Foundation donated a sizable gift to help fund a Cath Lab and emergency room expansion project gifting the new creating the Dr. Kiran C. Patel Emergency Center at AdventHealth Carrollwood.
2019: Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel have donated $1 million to HCC for the Allied Health Building and scholarships for students enrolled in health science programs. The gift constituted the largest cash gift from an individual in the College’s 50-year history. This three-story, 62,670-square-foot facility features classrooms and lab space, along with a simulated hospital.
2012: The Patel College for Global Solutions was created in 2012 through partnership with USF by Drs. Kiran and Pallavi Patel, who funded and helped shape the degree program and construct a dedicated building. This college equips students with the expertise to address global sustainability challenges through innovate, interdisciplinary education.

2004: Drs. Kiran C and Pallavi Patel founded the India Cultural Center, and adjacent Hindu and Jain temples, as a resource for the local Indian community. The ICC serves as a focal point of Indian cultural activity in the region, and serves as a gathering place for the multitude of Indian families living in the area.
